Correction: Carrot Funding reclassified active — our 10 Aug 'dead' verdict checked the wrong domain

On 10 August we classified Carrot Funding dead because carrotfunding.com 302-redirects to a HugeDomains parking page. That was the wrong domain: the firm brands itself carrotfunding.io and is fully operational there — challenge checkout live ($5K to $100K), 80% split, USDC payouts on Arbitrum with published transaction hashes. Status corrected to active, checked 15 August 2026. Two lessons enter the methodology: a death verdict must name the exact domain checked, and we search a firm's socials and docs for alternative official domains before classifying. Separately noted: Carrot's advertised ceiling is now $100K, down from the $500K seen in July, with no announcement.

Hypernova re-checked: public launch announced 14 August, reserve read at $746,229.76

Full re-check of Hypernova. On 14 August 2026 its founder announced the public launch: the invite-only beta is over and the checkout is open on app.hypernova.xyz, with pricing published ($120/$275/$365 on the 25K account, read 16 August 2026). Our on-chain reading of its payout reserve on Arbitrum: $746,229.76 (Vault + reserve wallet), down about $24.3K in a week; the homepage's rounded ~$750.9K counter no longer matches the chain to the cent. Status unchanged: active.

Full registry re-check: GT Funded reclassified relaunching (unproven), FundedPoly still 402

Second dated pass over all tracked firms. GT Funded: the original gtfunded.com has had no DNS record since June 2026; a new site on gtfunded.xyz is a waitlist landing page whose own figures contradict each other ($250K in the hero, $500K in the how-it-works, plus a '100% profit split' tier with no stated revenue model) — reclassified from dead to relaunching (unproven), which still counts as gone dark: the platform that took traders' money no longer exists and nothing addresses their accounts. FundedPoly: fundedpoly.com returned HTTP 402 DEPLOYMENT_DISABLED (Vercel) on 25 July and again on 10 August — at risk. Solana Funded and HyperPNL re-checked active with quietly reduced offers (ceiling $100K vs $250K advertised in July; $200K tier removed, respectively).

Registry opened: 10 crypto prop firms under dated DNS/HTTP monitoring

First dated checks recorded for the crypto prop firm status registry: every tracked firm — living ones included — gets DNS resolution, HTTP status and a manual read of the live page, each check dated. GT Funded entered as dead: all its domains stopped resolving in June 2026 with no statement and no wind-down for funded traders. The registry's rule from day one: no firm is marked dead on a rumour, and no past verdict is ever silently edited.
