No identity check was requested at purchase. We bought a 2-Phase $5,000 evaluation on 10 September 2026 — connect a wallet, pay 52 USDC on Arbitrum, account active the same day — with no document, no email verification and no identity form at any point. That is a fact about the purchase, not about the payout: most firms ask at the first withdrawal, and we have not requested one, so treat it as unconfirmed there. Two things we did read: the entity behind the terms accepted at checkout is CTECHNOLOGIES GAMING DEVELOPMENT - FZCO, a United Arab Emirates free-zone company, and we did not find a restricted-countries list in the pages we read that day — an absence we did not test, not a permission. If your jurisdiction or your privacy decides the purchase, ask in writing and keep the answer.

Not read on the public pages at our 5 September 2026 check — verify before you pay. We saw a checkout that accepts card and Apple Pay, and no identity-verification section, document list or restricted-countries list on the pages we read. That is silence, not an absence of checks, and we will not turn one into the other. If your jurisdiction or your privacy decides the purchase, ask them in writing first.

No documentary KYC today — but "no KYC" is the wrong summary, and the difference is geography. HyperPNL's own FAQ answers plainly: "No. At this time, HyperPNL does not require standard KYC verification for payouts" (read 9 September 2026). Nothing was asked of us either: we paid $42 in USDC on Arbitrum on 9 September 2026 and the account was delivered with no identity document requested at any point. The same day, §3.1 of the Terms of Use publishes a Restricted Countries and Jurisdictions list of 18 entries: the United States of America and its territories and Canada first, then Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, the occupied or sanctioned regions of Ukraine, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan and Myanmar. HyperPNL reserves the right to change that list "at any time, without prior notice", and using a VPN to get around it is described as "a material breach" that can bring "immediate suspension or termination of your account and permanent ineligibility for payouts". Payout eligibility is separately made subject to "compliance, anti-abuse checks" in §6 — and since we have taken no payout, we cannot tell you what those checks look like in practice. So the accurate line is: no identity documents asked at purchase, geographic filtering written into the contract, and an unmeasured compliance step between you and the money. If you are American or Canadian the answer is no, whatever the homepage's "No restrictions — anyone can participate freely" says.

18 jurisdictions excluded by contract — Terms of Use §3.1, read 9 September 2026, starting with the United States and its territories and Canada. The firm reserves the right to change that list without notice.1-Step from $42 · 2-Step from $50 · 25K at $215 / $213 (9 Sep 2026)

Why no-KYC matters (and where it doesn't)

  • Privacy at checkout: on the firms we bought, the evaluation was paid and traded from a wallet with no document upload. For Propr and Hypernova that stops at the funded account, where KYC applies.
  • Speed: no verification queue before the evaluation — you can be trading it minutes after you connect.
  • Proof: on-chain firms settle payouts you can verify yourself on the explorer, which is the whole point of going wallet-based.

The catch: no-KYC ≠ available everywhere

No KYC doesn't mean no rules, and the excluded-regions column above is the proof. HyperPNL excludes 18 jurisdictions by contract (Terms of Use §3.1, read 9 September 2026); Propr publishes a Restricted Countries section in its rulebook; two of the five publish nothing at all, which is silence rather than permission. VPN workarounds are described as a material breach where the terms address them. Read the section at source before you pay.

How we verified each firm

We bought and traded an evaluation on 4 of the 5 firms above with our own money; the rest is desk research, and a desk-researched score is capped at 85 by the grid itself. On the payout side, 54 receipts have been reconciled on-chain one by one on our own accounts — 48 Propr transfers on Ethereum and 6 Hypernova withdrawals on Arbitrum — read 1 October 2026. No-KYC prop firm FAQ

Do crypto prop firms require KYC?+

Not to buy and trade the evaluation on the on-chain firms we bought — the stage that differs is the funded account. Propr and Hypernova require KYC before the funded account, not before the purchase: Propr's Terms & Conditions §2.2 (propr.xyz/terms, read 30 September 2026) withhold the funded account, including payouts, until KYC is completed; Hypernova's FAQ (hypernova.xyz/docs/faq.md, read 30 September 2026) requires a government photo ID check through Sumsub before the funded account is activated. HyperPNL's FAQ, read 9 September 2026, says it does not require standard KYC verification for payouts, while its §6 still subjects payouts to compliance checks. Carrot asked for no identity check when we bought on 10 September 2026; its payout stage is not documented at our read of that date. Solana Funded: not documented at our read of 5 September 2026. Centralized, exchange-backed firms (e.g. Breakout, owned by Kraken) require KYC. And no KYC is not the same as open to everyone: HyperPNL's Terms of Use §3.1, read 9 September 2026, exclude 18 jurisdictions by contract, starting with the United States and its territories and Canada.

Is Propr.xyz no-KYC?+

Not beyond the evaluation: KYC before the funded account, not before the purchase. You connect a wallet, buy and trade the evaluation on Hyperliquid without an ID check; Propr's Terms & Conditions §2.2, read 30 September 2026, state that access to a funded account, including payouts, is not granted until KYC is completed. Payouts then settle on-chain in USDC. Geographic restrictions apply on top — see the Restricted Countries section of the rulebook.

Can US traders use no-KYC prop firms?+

Skipping the ID check at purchase does not remove the geo-block, and the answer is firm by firm. HyperPNL excludes the United States and its territories and Canada by contract (§3.1, read 9 September 2026). Propr, by contrast, opened the United States on 4 August 2026. Using a VPN to get around an exclusion is described as a material breach where the terms address it, and it risks termination with no payout.

Which firms on this list actually paid us?+

Two of them — Propr and Hypernova, the two that require KYC before the funded account — and the receipts are public: 54 payouts reconciled on-chain receipt by receipt on our own accounts — 48 from Propr on Ethereum and 6 from Hypernova on Arbitrum — read 1 October 2026. Every transaction hash is listed, so you can re-run the check yourself.

Is no-KYC safe?+

The risk isn't identity theft — it's picking a firm that vanishes. Prefer firms whose payouts settle on-chain so you can verify the treasury yourself, and see our register of firms that went dark for what happens when you don't.
