The short answer
Two floors decide every Bungee challenge. A daily floor at 97% of the balance settled at 00:00 UTC, which moves every day, and a static floor under the starting balance, which never moves. Both are checked on live equity, open losses included. On top: no bots, no APIs, no HFT, no scalping; leverage fixed per market; payouts at 80% with a $50 minimum. Our own Turbo $10K failed on the static floor on 23 October 2026 — and its last screen shows both floors side by side, which is the clearest proof of how they work. Our full assessment is on the Bungee Funded Perps review (78.6/100).

Roya’s arithmetic from the published percentages (rulebook §3, read 22 October 2026). The daily floor is shown for day one only: from the first reset on, it follows the settled balance.
1. The daily floor: 97% of the balance settled at 00:00 UTC
The rulebook: “Daily loss allowance = settled balance at reset × 3%”, “Daily breach floor = settled balance at reset × 97%”, on every track. It is not the starting size: an account settled at $9,800 gets a floor of $9,506; one settled at $11,000 gets $10,670 — so you can breach the daily rule while still in overall profit. The breach fires when live equity (settled balance, plus unrealised P&L, plus pending funding) “reaches or falls below” the floor; “equity of exactly $9,700 breaches”. And the check also runs at the reset: “carrying an open loss across midnight does not exempt it from breach.” The dashboard shows the floor in dollars and a countdown to the reset.

2. The static floor: it never moves
The maximum drawdown is “measured against the account’s defined starting balance and does not trail upward with profits”. Classic 6%, Pro 5%, Turbo 3%. On a $10,000 Turbo it is $9,700 on the first day and on the last. It is a hard breach: positions may be force-closed, the account disabled, “no automatic forgiveness, reset, grace period, or soft breach”.
3. The proof: our account, both floors on one screen
Our Turbo $10K started at $10,000, so on day one both floors sat at $9,700. On the next reset (00:00 UTC) the settled balance was $9,967.05, funding included, and the app moved the daily floor to $9,668.04 — 97% × $9,967.05 = $9,668.04, our arithmetic matches the screen. The static floor stayed at $9,700. With the balance below the start, the daily floor was now the looser of the two. A crude-oil short we held against us closed on 23 October 2026 and left $9,687.19 of equity: $12.81 under the static floor, still above the daily one. “Failed · Maximum drawdown breached.” Our error; the rule did what it says.

The lesson for sizing: on a losing account, the binding floor is the static one; on a winning account, the daily floor rises with the settled balance and becomes the tighter one. Read both numbers on the dashboard every day.
4. The profit target counts open profit
Classic 10%, Pro 12%, Turbo 9%. The current FAQ: “Realized and eligible unrealized profit count toward the target.” When balance plus eligible unrealised P&L reaches it, the pass is recorded and the system closes your positions itself. On our account the “Current net P&L” shown against the target already included the open loss. No time limit, no minimum days, no consistency rule — one step to the funded account.
5. What is banned
- Bots, scripts, APIs and HFT — anything that makes trading decisions or submits, modifies or cancels orders automatically.
- Scalping — “repeated or systematic rapid entries and exits intended to capture small price movements”, manual or automated. No fixed minimum hold; one short trade alone does not prove it. A confirmed pattern means the payout request is denied, plus restriction or breach.
- Copy trading without express agreement, and services designed to game evaluations.
- Hedging across accounts — long BTC in one Bungee account and short in another, correlated assets, or coordination with another trader. Inside one account it is impossible anyway: one position per market, one direction.
- Account sharing and technical abuse (latency, stale prices, feed errors, “simulated-market defects”). Socket’s Terms of Use also forbid using a VPN to get around a geographic restriction.
6. Leverage is fixed, margin is isolated
Each market has one leverage set by Bungee, not adjustable: BTC and gold 10×, S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 20×, ETH 5×, SOL, HYPE, XRP and a few others 3×, most other altcoins and every stock 2× (API and terminal, 22 October 2026). Isolated margin only, per-market notional caps (BTC $1,000,000), and when Bungee changes a market’s leverage existing positions become reduce-only. Market orders carry a 0.5% slippage protection.

7. Costs inside the account
1.5 basis points per fill, maker and taker — about $3 for a $10,000 round trip — charged exactly at that rate on our fills. Funding is hourly, dynamic, never negative and never credited: you pay it on either side.
8. The $110,000 cap
At most $110,000 of combined active account size per trader (one $100,000 plus one $10,000, for example); closed accounts do not count. The checkout applies it live.

9. Getting paid
- Split 80/20, no 90% option.
- Minimum $50 after the split (in-app Rules page, v0.5). The FAQ of the same day: “no fixed minimum”.
- Cap $20,000 gross per funded account per rolling 24 hours (Rules page). The FAQ: a shared per-user allowance. One pending request at a time.
- Reset — after each approved claim, the funded account goes back to its starting balance; the static floor stays where it was.
- Delay — target one business day; the median over the 210 public payouts was about 12.6 hours.
- KYC — Sumsub, after the pass, before the funded account; not needed to buy or trade a challenge.
10. Also worth knowing
News trading and weekend holding are allowed. Restricted countries include China, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, North Korea and others listed in the FAQ; the United States are not on that list, while Socket’s Terms do not guarantee availability there. An “Active days / 30” counter sits on the account although the rulebook states no time limit — unexplained so far. Rules change: four rulebook versions in three weeks, the latest live in the app without a version number. Check the Rules page before you buy.
FAQ
How is the daily loss calculated at Bungee Funded Perps?
3% of the settled balance at the 00:00 UTC reset, on every track. The daily floor is 97% of that balance and the check runs on live equity (balance plus unrealised P&L plus pending funding), including at the moment of the reset. On our Turbo $10K the floor was recomputed at the reset to $9,668.04 = 97% of $9,967.05.
Is the Bungee max drawdown trailing or static?
Static: measured on the starting balance, it never moves up with profits. Classic 6%, Pro 5%, Turbo 3% — on a $10,000 Turbo the floor is $9,700 for the life of the challenge. Ours stayed at $9,700 while the daily floor moved, and it is the static floor that failed the account.
Can I use a bot or scalp on Bungee Funded Perps?
No. Software, scripts, automated systems, APIs, HFT and scalping ("repeated or systematic rapid entries and exits intended to capture small price movements") are prohibited, manual or automated. There is no fixed minimum holding period and a single short trade does not by itself establish scalping; a confirmed pattern gets the payout request denied.
Can I hold positions over the weekend or trade news?
Yes to both. There is no general news ban (temporary restrictions may apply in extreme volatility) and weekend holding is allowed, crypto trading 24/7. But holding through midnight UTC can breach the account at the daily reset.
What is the minimum payout at Bungee?
The in-app Rules page (rulebook v0.5, read 22 October 2026) says $50 after the 80/20 split, with at most $20,000 gross per funded account per rolling 24 hours. The FAQ said "no fixed minimum" and a per-user allowance the same day; we go by the Rules page, which the app treats as the source of truth.
When is KYC required at Bungee?
After you pass, before you trade the funded account or receive a payout. Buying and trading a challenge needs no identity check. The provider is Sumsub (ID document and selfie).
