Changelog β 6 August 2026: first published after Propr publicly confirmed the product is in beta, with the teaser screenshot and the parameters visible in it. I update this page when a launch date, a corrected grid or a public sign-up appears.
Propr's prediction-market prop firm has not launched. As of 6 August 2026 it remains waitlist-only, with no announced date. The grid, rules and pricing are published, but sign-up is closed. On 5 August 2026 a member of the Propr team answered a trader asking when it goes live: it is in beta, with "many things to improve".
Disclosure: the Propr links on this page are affiliate links β they cost you nothing and get you 5% USDC cashback on a challenge fee. Nothing here is financial advice.
What was expected, and when
Propr published its prediction-market grid in full: a 1-Step evaluation, a 20% profit target, a 10% static max drawdown, a 6% daily loss limit, a maximum position of 10% of the account, no time limit, an 80% split, and fees from $200 for a $5K account up to $1,600 for $100K. Markets on Polymarket, plus Hyperliquid HIP-4 listings above $500K open interest.
That level of detail usually means launch is close. It was published while traders were already asking, and the question in the community has been running since June. Two months later, the sign-up is still closed.
What Propr said
On 5 August 2026, a trader asked publicly when the prediction market would go live, saying he had been waiting since June and had lost several evaluation accounts trading perpetuals. The reply from the Propr side was short and, to their credit, not evasive: it is in beta, still many things to improve. It came with a screenshot.

What the teaser actually shows
Reading the interface rather than the caption, four things stand out.
| Element | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Account name | Polymarket Bronze 1 Step |
| Badge | PAPER β paper trading, not live capital |
| Stage | Phase 1 |
| Balance / equity | $50,000 |
| Drawdown limit | 6% |
| Daily loss limit | $1,500 (3% of $50,000) |
| Market on screen | Dota 2 playoff match, order book priced in cents |
1. The numbers do not match the published grid
The published prediction-market grid says 10% static max drawdown and a 6% daily loss. The teaser shows 6% drawdown and $1,500 daily on a $50,000 account, which is 3%. Those are the parameters of Propr's Classic 1-Step crypto evaluation, not the ones announced for prediction markets.
The dull explanation is the likely one: an internal build reusing the crypto risk engine while the prediction-specific parameters are wired in. It would also explain why it is taking longer than planned. But it is worth knowing that the interface in the teaser is not yet running the rules you were shown.
2. It is paper, and it says so
The PAPER badge is right there in the header. Nobody is trading real capital in that screenshot, and Propr is not pretending otherwise. That is a small thing and it counts β a firm that labels a demo as a demo in its own marketing screenshot is telling you something about how it handles the rest.
3. The first market shown is esports, not politics
The screen is a Dota 2 playoff match with a $2.4M volume order book. Prediction-market prop firms have so far been discussed around elections and macro events. Starting with esports is a different bet: continuous events, a young audience already used to trading-shaped interfaces, and far more of them per week than elections. If that is deliberate, it changes who this product is for.
4. The order book is real Polymarket depth
Prices in cents, more than $1M of size at the top of book, a 99.9Β’ / 0.1Β’ spread on a match already decided. That is genuine Polymarket data, not a mockup. The plumbing works; it is the wrapper around it that is unfinished.
Why this is hard, honestly
It would be easy to read a two-month slip as a bad sign. I do not, and here is the specific reason.
Every rule Propr sells is built on a continuous price. A drawdown limit assumes your equity moves in small steps and that you can be stopped out on the way down. A prediction contract does not behave that way: it drifts, then settles at 0 or 1. A position that looks fine at 40Β’ becomes worthless the instant the match ends, with no intermediate price at which a risk engine could have intervened. Applying a 10% drawdown rule to that is not a parameter change, it is a different risk model.
The firms already live on Polymarket β PropMarket, PolyFunded, FundedPoly β each solved it differently, and our prediction market hub lays out what each one funds and under which rules. Shipping late is not the failure mode to fear here. Shipping a drawdown rule that liquidates traders on settlement gaps would be.
What is still unpublished
- A launch date. None announced.
- Whether the grid changes. The teaser parameters differ from the published ones.
- Which market categories are in scope β the teaser shows esports, the published page mentions Polymarket broadly.
- How settlement gaps are handled against the drawdown limit. This is the whole problem.
- Whether waitlist position matters at launch, or whether it opens to everyone at once.
FAQ
Has Propr's prediction market prop firm launched?+
No. As of 6 August 2026 it is still waitlist-only. Propr has published the full grid, rules and pricing on its prediction-market page, but there is no public sign-up and no announced launch date. A member of the Propr team described it publicly on 5 August 2026 as being in beta with 'many things to improve'.
When will Propr's Polymarket prop firm go live?+
Propr has not announced a date. The product was expected by traders from June 2026 onwards, and it has now slipped at least two months past those expectations. The only public status update is the beta acknowledgement of 5 August 2026. We update this page when a date appears.
What does the beta look like?+
The teaser posted by Propr shows a 'Polymarket Bronze 1 Step' account carrying a PAPER badge, in Phase 1, with a $50,000 balance. The market on screen is an esports event β a Dota 2 playoff match β with a live order book priced in cents, not a politics or macro market.
Can you trade Polymarket with a funded account today?+
Not with Propr. Three other firms are taking traders on prediction markets: PropMarket, PolyFunded and FundedPoly. Our prediction market hub compares what each funds, at what price and under which rules, with verification dates.
Is a delay a bad sign for a prop firm?+
Not on its own. Shipping a funded-account product on binary outcomes is genuinely hard β drawdown maths built for perpetual futures does not transfer to contracts that settle at 0 or 1. A firm that ships that badly and fast is the one to worry about. What matters is whether the delay is communicated, and this one now is.
Trading prediction markets today
Propr is not taking prediction-market traders yet. Three firms are. The hub compares them with dates and sources, and the published Propr grid is documented in full for when it does open.
