The $11.26 below is claimed and processing, not received. Vest says it “will arrive in 24 hours” on our Primary Account; we will then withdraw it as USDC to our own wallet (Base or Arbitrum One), planned for 10 October 2026, and add the transaction hash to this page. Whether an identity check is asked at withdrawal, we do not know yet. Our Trust Score for Vest does not change today.

The short answer

On 8 October 2026 we bought a Vest Capital Silver evaluation — $5,000 account, 1-Step, 10% target ($500), 3% daily loss limit ($150), 6% static max drawdown ($300), 80/20 split — for $38. It passed on 9 October, less than six hours after the Stripe receipt. The same account turned into a Live Funded Account, we placed one funded trade, and 7 minutes after closing it we claimed the profit: $14.08 claimable after fees, $11.26 to us at 80%. On 9 October 2026 that claim is Processing. Context from our full Vest Markets review: by Vest’s own Terms, every account is simulated.

1. Timeline, in UTC

The Vest app displays local time (Bangkok, UTC+7 in our case); the Stripe receipt is in US Eastern time. Everything below is converted to UTC.

2. The evaluation: what the Est. Pass Price and Fail Price lines show

At 06:41 UTC the account stood at +$409.31 of the $500 target, with one position open: SPCX (the SpaceX perpetual) long 10x, 310.8496 SPCX from $165.62, +$258.01 unrealized. The chart drew two dashed lines on the price axis.

  • Est. Pass Price, $166.75. The price at which, with that position, the evaluation would pass. Instead of working out how many cents you still need from your size and the remaining target, you read it on the chart, next to the trade. It is a genuinely useful feature.
  • Fail Price, $164.65. The price at which that position, everything else unchanged, takes the account to its nearest loss floor. Here it sat $0.97 below entry, while the pass line sat $1.13 above. With 10x on a $5,000 account, both lines are close — the screenshot shows how thin the margin of a leveraged pass is.
Vest Capital evaluation in progress, 9 October 2026 06:41 UTC: Evaluation Goal +$409.31 of $500, SPCX long 10x from $165.62, unrealized +$258.01, Fail Price line at $164.65 and Est. Pass Price line at $166.75

The evaluation then passed. The modal reads: “Evaluation Passed — Congratulations - you’ve passed the Evaluation Phase. Your $5,000 Funded Account is now live.” It lists three trades: SPCX long 10x $165.62 → $166.74, +$349.71; ETH long 15x $2,488.90 → $2,495.31, +$84.23; BTC long 15x $82,048 → $82,205, +$60.57. We do not know the exact pass time (between 06:41 and 08:03 UTC), and we do not present those three lines as the full history of the evaluation.

3. The switch to funded

No new account, no waiting: the same “Account 01” changed from Evaluation to Live Funded Account, with the same limits shown — Max Daily Loss $150, Max Drawdown $300. The positions history restarts from zero on the funded account. The modal says “now live”, and it was: we traded it the same day.

The first funded trade: NVDA long 25x (25x is NVDA’s maximum on funded accounts in Vest’s public exchangeInfo API), 531.8235 NVDA, opened at 08:03:24 UTC at $234.45, closed at 08:09:02 UTC at $234.53 (“Self-requested”). A take-profit at $234.60 and a stop at $234.20 had been set, then cancelled at the close. Result: +$39.02 P&L, $24.94 in fees ($12.47 per side, about 0.01% of a ~$124,700 notional).

4. How the claim math works

  1. Trade P&L: +$39.02.
  2. Minus fees: $39.02 − $24.94 = $14.08. The app showed “Available to Claim $14.078881”: the claimable profit is net of fees.
  3. Times the split: 14.078881 × 80% = $11.26 (“You Will Receive $11.263104”, exactly 80.00%).

So the trader pays 100% of the fees and receives 80% of what is left. On a short, heavily leveraged trade like ours, fees took 64% of the gross P&L; of the +$39.02 the trade made, $11.26 is ours. Worth knowing before you scalp a funded account.

We claimed 100% at 08:10:52 UTC. Recipient: “Primary Account” (the exchange account, not a wallet). Confirmation: “$11.263104 is on its way to your Primary Account and will arrive in 24 hours.” We saw no minimum: $14.08 went through, 7 minutes after the trade closed, on the day the account went funded.

After the claim, the Payouts tab lists Gross $14.08, Net $11.26, Status Processing, Executed At “-”. Transactions shows “Withdraw −$14.08”. Account Value is back to $5,000.00 and Max Drawdown to $0 / $300: the claimed profit leaves the account and the base stays at $5,000, so the drawdown room is the same as on day one.

Our Vest Capital Live Funded Account after the claim, 9 October 2026: Account Value $5,000.00, Max Drawdown $0 of $300, Payouts tab showing gross $14.08, net $11.26, status Processing

The app also offers an “Official Payout Certificate” card (+$11.26, Silver, $5,000, 10/9/2026). It is an image the app generates from the claim, while the payout is still Processing. It is not a proof of payment, and neither is any such card you see shared online.

5. What we have not verified yet

  • The credit. The $11.26 has not been seen on our Primary Account on 9 October 2026. “24 hours” is Vest’s figure.
  • The withdrawal. The USDC transfer from the Primary Account to our wallet (Base or Arbitrum One) is planned for 10 October 2026. This article will be updated with the transaction hash.
  • KYC. Whether an identity check is asked at withdrawal is unknown. None was asked at purchase.
  • Anything about scale. One claim of $14.08 says nothing about how a large claim is handled.

6. What this changes for the score: nothing yet

Our Trust Score for Vest Markets stays at 74.1/100, payouts sub-score 62 (see the full table). A claim that says “Processing” is a promise from the firm, not money. We revise the payouts score only once the money is received and withdrawn on-chain with a readable transaction hash — the same rule we applied to Propr and Hypernova before counting their payouts.

The rest of the picture is unchanged and is in our Vest Markets page: accounts are simulated per the Prop Trading Terms of 6 October 2026; 88 markets in the app; no API on funded accounts; a refund window written as 3 days in the docs and 28 days in the Terms; the contracting entity is Vest Exchange Inc. (Panama).

7. FAQ

Does Vest Capital pay out?

Not verified by us yet. On 9 October 2026 we passed a $5,000 evaluation, made one funded trade and claimed $14.08 of profit; the app shows $11.26 (our 80%) with the status "Processing". Until that money reaches the Primary Account and leaves it as USDC to our own wallet (planned 10 October 2026), we do not call it paid. Vest told Fortune that roughly 26% of the platform's 27,000 traders had received a cash payout as of late September — the firm's own figure, which we cannot check.

How long does a Vest Capital payout take?

Two steps. The claim itself took seconds: submitted at 08:10:52 UTC on 9 October 2026, 7 minutes after our first funded trade closed, on the same day the account went funded. Vest then states the credit to the Primary Account "will arrive in 24 hours" — that is Vest's statement, not something we have measured yet. The second step, a USDC withdrawal from the Primary Account (minimum 1 USDC, on Base or Arbitrum One per the docs), has not been done yet.

Is there a minimum payout on Vest Capital?

We observed none: a claim of $14.08 was accepted on 9 October 2026. The docs and the FAQ say there is no cap on the amount or on how often you claim; they do not state a minimum either way, so this is an observation on one claim, not a written rule.

What profit split do you get on Vest Capital?

The split is chosen when you buy: 80/20 on the default evaluation card (ours), 90/10 as a paid option, 95% on Instant accounts. On our claim the app showed 14.078881 USDC claimed and "You Will Receive $11.263104" — exactly 80.00%.

Are trading fees deducted before the split?

Yes, on what we saw. Our funded trade made +$39.02 and paid $24.94 in fees; the app then showed "Available to Claim $14.078881", i.e. $39.02 − $24.94. The 80% split applies to that net figure, so the trader carries the full fee. On this short trade the fees took 64% of the gross P&L.

Is the money real or simulated?

The account is simulated. Vest's Prop Trading Terms (last updated 6 October 2026) say: "All Accounts, including Instant Funded Accounts, are simulated. No real trading capital, assets, margin, or collateral are credited or entrusted to you." A payout is a contractual compensation computed on that simulated account, credited in USDC to the exchange's Primary Account. The USDC would be real once it is credited and withdrawn — which, for our $11.26, we have not verified yet.
