Propr: floating P&L no longer counts toward daily loss and max drawdown

6 August 2026 · Observed on our account, not yet in the rulebook

Before (propr.xyz/rules, rulebook v1.0.5, read 27 July 2026): Daily loss and max drawdown measured on live equity — open (floating) P&L included, so an intraday spike could breach a limit even if the position later recovered. After (Trustpilot reviews of 6 August 2026 (read 4 September 2026) + our funded accounts (late August) + confirmation from the firm; rulebook re-read 1 September 2026, read 4 September 2026): Floating P&L no longer counted — the daily rule is balance-based, not equity-based. Earliest dated trace: two Trustpilot reviewers on 6 August 2026 ('Daily DD is balance based'; 'they recently changed one of their rules — switching to a balance-based rather than equity-based model'). Observed on our own funded account in late August; confirmed by the firm to us. At our 1 September 2026 read, propr.xyz/rules had not been re-versioned to say so. What it changes: An intraday wick against you no longer ends the account; only where you close (and the start-of-day balance) matters. Materially looser for scalpers and anyone holding through news. Until the rulebook is re-versioned, treat it as observed behaviour and re-check the rules page before relying on it.
